Nah aeternus is supossed to do that.įor reference you can spawn a gatling laser, drop it, grab it, and attach the never ending prefix to it and it does the same thing. :P Comps would probably have the same problem, script check for ammo, don't find any, revert to default crap weapon, but I haven't tried giving them an infinite ammo weapon yet so I dunno. I found a way to give a weapon truly infinite ammo in the creation kit and it's simple as hell, but it glitches VATS, which still checks for the ammo and aborts when it can't find any. You might want to check your comps and see if it's working right. That's actually a bug that happens because of the way fusion cores work, getting multiple shots out of a single item unlike any other ammo type. Otherwise just getting ammo to feed it in game will be a ♥♥♥♥♥.Īeternus i think is the best heavy weapon for a companion. If you console a bunch of ammo for a companion to use it, i think it would be neat with all the random freezing crits.
